Acting and Improv – Ashley Isenhof
Explore your dramatic side as you act, improvise, and have fun! This class engages a variety of theater games, improvisations, short scenes, and other tips and tricks of the trade to develop young actors.
Comic Book Making – Don VanOeveren
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your over own superhero comic book? This is the class for you! You will learn how to set up a comic book, create characters, and tell stories through the comic book genre!
Devotions in Motion – Kelly Honderd
This class teaches how to use the gift of dance to bring worship and glory to God. Campers will learn basic ballet technique, sacred dance movements, and embrace their creativity with free dance time! Get moving and have some fun as you learn from a professional dance teacher and worship God together.
Glass Project – Marie Jasper and Terri Blanch
In this class, you will create a multimedia project using things like sand, glass, and paint. The art will be inspired by Jilly’s in Pentwater. She won Art Prize previously!
Hair Braiding – Holly Koster
Do you want your hair to look like Rapunzel? This is the class for you! Learn different braiding techniques to transform your hair. You will also use clips and flowers to add more charm to your styles.
Hip Hop – Karisa Vander Weele
Learn to pop and lock to worship the Lord! Through this class, you will develop rhythm, coordination, and individual style through different hip hop techniques.
Lego Art – Brody Andrus
Let’s build together! Each day you will be tasked with a different Lego building challenge and given 45 minutes to use artistic insight and imaginative engineering to complete your creation. These creations will be photographed and then disassembled, so we can take on a new challenge for the next day!
Lighted Dioramas – Brie Hahn and Becky Feldt
In this class we will be creating realistic mini dioramas in jars and adding fairy lights to them. These will be put on bases and taken home at the end of the week to be used as a nightlight, a decoration, or something else unique to you!
Painting – Danielle Ruch
Come and discover the basics of painting! We will brainstorm, plan, draw out, and paint to create our own masterpiece! Get creative with your brushes and colors as you design with your new skills what is unique to your own style of painting!
Percussion – Sydney Koster
Love to drop a beat? Always wanted to give drumming a try? Now is the time! Come and discover rhythmic patterns as you learn to make music through stomping, pounding, and striking using lids, buckets, and other commonly found items. You can be a drummer wherever you are, with whatever is around you!
Pony Bead Art – Tana Sommerville
In this class, you will learn how to use some beads, string, and a keychain ring to create beautiful keychain creations!
Puppetry – Bob Karel
Enjoy creating your own puppet character and learn how to make it come to life in this puppetry class!
Trash into Treasures – Janey Bauman
Practice the art of “upcycling”, by literally turning everyday trash into creative treasures. You will be amazed by the fun and beauty you can find as you see past the average and turn clutter into spectacular art!
Vocal Music – Wendy Huizinga
Love to sing? Want to explore and develop your gift of song? Then come and belt it out with us! We will work on refining vocal techniques, stage presence, microphone skills, lyrical expression and more. Be taught by a professional worship director as you have fun and learn the art of singing.

Come on this adventure as we explore through nature and discover that the treasures we need to make art are already in the world around us! See how imaginative you can get, turning the outdoors into an awesome pieces of art! We will make our own tic tac toe sets, photo hangers, and more!
String Art with Wood-Jack and Kristi Vandenbroek
Our projects would be string art on wood (using hammers, scissors) and bird houses (hammers, hot glue, and paint).
Star Wars Origami-Beth Andrus
Explore a galaxy far, far away in our Star Wars origami class! Craft iconic characters and spacecraft from the beloved saga while unleashing your creativity. Young Padawans will master the folds needed to bring their favorite Star Wars characters to life. At the end of the week we will showcase your intergalactic creations in a unique video to share the Force-filled fun with friends and family!
