Arts camp on the Hill is a ministry of Orchard Hill Church. Arts Camp started in 2008 with a staff of 85 with around 170 campers. Each year we have watched God bless the program as we have grown to 120 or so volunteer staff and 400 campers each summer. It has been an incredible journey and we have been in awe of how God has blessed our program and has allowed us to witness to thousands of kids over the past 15 years. Because our goal has always been to serve our community, we have kept our registration fee to $10.00 per child while continuing a quality program each summer. This year our camp offers 17 creative/performing arts classes, an end of the week performance/display program, and so many fun ways of sharing Jesus Christ.
The last two years have been very different for us as we created an Arts Camp online, but we have been amazed at how God has opened doors and provided new opportunities to reach more kids than ever before.
We are so excited to be back in person this summer!
What age children is Arts Camp on the Hill geared toward?
Our camp is for children ages K-entering 6th grade. Our K-1st graders spend the morning in our children’s wing (separate from the older kids) and move through rotations that include music, art, games, and sensory play. 2nd-6th graders select two creative or performing art classes that they attend all week long. All grades participate in our fun & crazy opening worship times and Bible groups with their grade levels.
Do I need to register for camp?
Yes! We have limited space available this year so those who register in advance will have a better chance of selecting their favorite classes. We will close registration on June 1st or after we have reached our 300 student capacity. To register, go to the tab on our website and register your child(ren) for camp there!
Is there a cost for Arts Camp?
The cost for Arts Camp on the Hill is only $10.00 per child! This cost includes an Arts Camp tie dye tee-shirt (created by each camper) and the materials for all of the projects. We see our camp as a way to bless the families of our community which is why we have kept the cost very minimal! Will I need to bring supplies for the craft projects?
Orchard Hill will provide all the supplies needed for projects. If your child is registering for the Acoustic Guitar or Ukulele Class they will have to bring their own instrument with them.
